Our Process
Many customers want to remodel their home but don’t know the step-by-step process or often struggle to find quality contractors with the experience and integrity to take them from their current project to a freshly remodeled space. Furthermore, many contractors sign contracts with their customers without explaining the process, leaving clients filled with anxiety.
At Revival Interiors, we have a documented step-by-step process from start to finish, so you can know exactly how your project will unfold.
1
1. CONSULTATION
When you contact us, we will coordinate to schedule an in-person consultation at no charge to accommodate your busy schedule. We have appointments available Monday through Saturday.
During this initial consultation, we will discuss your vision for your project. You will get to know John and learn about the many years of construction
experience our Revival Interiors
team brings to your project.
After we have discussed ideas for your project, we can provide a ballpark budget and costs related to your vision. As an experienced contractor, Revival Interiors will help guide you in the right direction for financing your project.

2. ESTIMATE
From our consultation meeting,
we will take all the information to create a ballpark estimate for your project. After receiving the estimate, we will schedule a time with you to go over your detailed, line-itemized ballpark estimate via phone, video conference, or in person.

3. DESIGN
If you are comfortable with the estimate pricing, we will enter our design/planning phase. We will agree to a design agreement in which the costs for your project's design services will be listed within the estimate. Typical costs for design are 1-3%. The Revival Interiors design team will create renderings for your project using industry-leading software, including high-resolution 3D perspectives. During this process, we will discuss material selections together to incorporate these elements into the final revision. Entering into a design agreement with Revival Interiors also secures a tentative spot on our schedule for you!
4
PROJECT AGREEMENT
Most contractors provide ballpark, open-ended contracts filled with allowances for materials, subcontractors, etc., resulting in paying substantially more than the presented price. We believe that is unethical. At Revival Interiors, we design and estimate your project with firm materials pricing and subcontractor pricing before we enter into a proposal agreement. This ensures that you know exactly what you are getting and exactly what you are going to pay before the project ever starts. After the firm price is given, if you wish to proceed, you would sign the agreement and we would collect a 50% down payment. Other payment terms will be clearly outlined within the agreement for your project.
5
SCHEDULE
Once a design is approved and costs are outlined, a start date for your project will be scheduled. We will present a project timeline, keeping you informed throughout the project about who to anticipate at your home and the scope of work that is planned to be performed so you can plan ahead.
6
PROJECT
WALK-THROUGH
Prior to the first day of construction, the Revival Interiors team and the homeowners will meet for a walk-through of the full scope of work on the project. Here we will discuss the construction process and confirm all material selections such as flooring, tile, paint colors, etc. Depending on the type of project we are creating for you, our team will help accommodate your living conditions during the project, such as setting up an alternate kitchen space during a kitchen remodel. We will also discuss locations for dust barriers and how to keep your personal property safe during construction.
7
TRADE
PARTNER SCHEDULING
During the project walk-through or soon after, we invite our subcontractors who will be working on the project to meet on-site. This allows the client to get to know the trade partners and discuss logistics, scheduling, and more. Many of our trade partners have worked with Revival Interiors for many years.
8
PROJECT COMMENCEMENT
Demo day! We begin the process of preparing the work site by installing dust barriers and having debris containers and project materials delivered. During this time, we start the demo process by removing items from the project site.
9
PROJECT COMPLETION
Prior to the completion of your project, if needed, we will schedule a final walk-through together to ensure everything is completed to our high standards of quality and functioning properly so you can begin to move into your new space!
If you choose to, we will
host a party—expenses paid by Revival Interiors—to showcase your newly remodeled space to your family and friends!
